Mary Hubbard experienced significant water damage in her laundry room, with initial moisture levels in the drywall ranging from 54% to 99%.
Solutions provided:
Dayspring Restoration promptly responded by conducting an initial inspection and identifying the high moisture levels. To address this, a drying chamber was set up in the affected area using 48 SF of 6 Mil plastic containment and a non-reusable zipper. Specialized drying equipment was deployed, including 1 dehumidifier (for 4 days), 1 air mover (for 4 days), 2 zip poles (for 4 days), and an AFD 500 (for 3 days). Demolition involved removing 2 SF of drywall initially, with an additional 2 linear feet cut during a monitoring visit to ensure thorough drying. Multiple monitoring visits confirmed progress, with moisture points eventually reading between 6% and 7%, meeting drying standards. All drying equipment was then removed. The project included generating a Service Agreement, Mitigation Scope 2.0, and a Certificate of Completion.
