The Capitol Building experienced water damage affecting the 3rd-floor bathroom's drywall and tile, and wet carpet on the 2nd floor and in the basement. There was also affected plaster on the 2nd floor, necessitating professional water damage restoration and drying services.
Solutions provided:
DaySpring Restoration provided comprehensive water damage mitigation. They applied antimicrobial treatment to the affected carpet on the 2nd floor and basement. A dehumidifier with lay-flat ducting was set up in the 3rd-floor women's bathroom to effectively dry the affected drywall and tile. Two fans were installed to dry the carpet on the 2nd floor. Wet materials on the 2nd floor were removed, and the removal of affected plaster in the 2nd-floor area was recommended. The site was continuously monitored for drying progress, and equipment was removed once materials were dry. All necessary documentation, including a Service Agreement, Mitigation Scope, Final Mitigation Report, and Certificate of Completion, was generated.
