Why did the customer contact us?

A broken water line in the yard and a leaking HVAC condensation pump caused high humidity and excess water in the crawlspace, leading to visible microbial growth on the floor joists (BCI's) which increased in density deeper into the crawlspace.

Solutions provided:

Containment was set up at the crawlspace entrance with an air scrubber ducted to a window to create negative air. The floor joists and subfloor were HEPA vacuumed, sprayed with a microbial treatment (Serum), and allowed to dry, followed by a second HEPA vacuum. The vapor barrier in the first bay was hand wiped to clean mud from a previous loss and then re-sealed to the wall.
