The customer contacted us for emergency water damage restoration, structural drying, and remediation following a major copper pipe plumbing leak. The pipe failure led to significant water migration into the carpet and underlay, saturating the subfloor cavity and leaking through to cause drywall bubbling, paint peeling, and ceiling damage on the floor directly below.

We performed an immediate water damage mitigation and structural extraction procedure. Our technicians pulled back the affected carpet and removed saturated underlay, then executed controlled floor access cuts to reach the joist space and pinpoint the leaking copper supply line. We extracted standing moisture from the subfloor and installed commercial centrifugal air movers and LGR dehumidifiers to dry out the exposed wooden joists, ceiling cavity, and surrounding carpet. Additionally, we applied an EPA-registered antimicrobial treatment across all damp surfaces to prevent mold growth before structural and drywall repairs could begin.
