The customer experienced an indoor water leak that migrated across multiple connected living areas, significantly impacting the hard-surface flooring in a hallway and an adjacent bedroom. Moisture had become trapped beneath the flooring planks and behind the baseboards, creating an immediate risk for subfloor warping, material delamination, and hidden microbial growth if not swiftly mitigated.

We implemented a targeted structural drying protocol designed specifically for hard-surface flooring. Our technicians removed the affected baseboards along the hallway walls to open up the wall cavities and promote active airflow. In the bedroom, we elevated the heavy furniture onto protective wooden blocks to prevent permanent water damage to the pieces. Finally, we deployed a network of high-velocity commercial air movers and a high-capacity dehumidifier to force evaporation, capture the airborne moisture, and thoroughly dry the subfloor and surrounding structural materials.
