The customer experienced a presumed roof leak in their laundry room, leading to moisture intrusion, damaged drywall, insulation, and suspected microbial growth on the framing. They also identified other damages, such as in the bathtub area, which they planned to address themselves. Due to the age of the structure (approximately 40 years old with multiple renovations), asbestos sampling was required.
DaySpring Restoration conducted an initial call to gather information, performed a comprehensive site inspection, and identified the extent of damage from the roof leak. We documented damages including drywall, insulation, and framing in the laundry room, noting potential microbial growth. An estimate for the recommended mitigation and remediation work was prepared and provided to the customer. Although the customer ultimately decided to complete the work themselves, they expressed great appreciation for the time and effort invested by our team during the inspection and estimation process.
