Heliopolis
Heights may be the first of its kind to be entered
in the Missoula Parade of Homes since its inception.
The visitor to this beautiful home may be asking him
or herself, “Why is this home called Heliopolis
Heights”? First of all Heliopolis is a city which
has its roots in Egyptian culture where the
mythological phoenix bird after burning to ashes,
came to life and flew to the ancient city for rest.
A visitor to this home (originally built by Shelter
West in 2005) will be surprised to discover that
this home sustained significant fire damage. Out of
the ashes it has emerged through a careful and
methodical restoration process. The fire started in
the lower level and the structure was severely
impacted by the fire in the master suite. Smoke odor
and staining penetrated the rest of the home leaving no surface untouched.
The
process of the fire restoration for this property
was rigorous. The first steps involved a complete
assessment of the damage by carefully removing the
layers of charred debris and impacted materials.
This was followed by a thorough removal of smoke
residue on the structural materials using
state-of-the-art restorative technologies. After the
smoke was removed and all the surfaces were cleaned
and sealed, the process of reconstruction began to
commence. From the heart-walnut wood floors to the
alder cabinets and fir woodwork the superb finishes
in this home reflect an elegant taste.
In
difficult times it is often challenging to envision
rehabilitation or even better times on the horizon.
You are sure to leave Heliopolis Heights with great
ideas for your dream home, and maybe more
importantly, a sense of hope that comes with care,
time, and dedicated partnerships.
